The Fraser Coast is the perfect place to get out on the water.  The open ocean, sheltered seas, rivers and creeks, estuaries and freshwater lakes - the choice is yours.

  • Go canoeing, sailing or jet-skiing off the beach.
  • Take a guided jet ski tour to Fraser Island taking in Round Island, Big
    Woody Island, Picnic Island, DuckIsland, Kingfi sher Bay Resort, then
    to Moon Point and Pelican Banks for dolphin and stingray spotting.
  • Go snorkelling or diving off the beach or off Hervey Bay’s artificial reef,
    the largest man-made reef in the Southern Hemisphere.
  • Go on a dolphin watching sailing tour.
  • Swim in crystal clear, freshwater lakes.
  • Go fishing (jetty, estuary, light tackle, sports fishing).
  • Kayak through the Bay’s calm waters, view fish and birdlife and snorkel the
